My name is Sadie Dodson, and I am a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints! I am serving in the New York New York North Mission.My only job from the minute I wake up until the minute I fall asleep is to share the true message of the Restored Gospel of Jesus Christ to the world.I have made this blog to help anyone who uses it develop a deeper relationship with God. The message of the Restored Gospel of Jesus Christ will enable you to improve the quality of your lives. It will help you deal with the problems and challenges we all face in life. As you sincerely seek after truth and find that these things we share are true, we encourage you to learn more by meeting with the missionaries and preparing yourself to follow the example of Jesus Christ by being baptized by someone holding the proper priesthood authority of God. I have done it, and I know it is the most liberating and most joyful decision I have ever made in my life! Every day I see countless blessings as a result of that one decision. I testify that it will do the same for you.
I am from Pleasant Grove, Utah, where I was raised by goodly parents (1 Nephi 1:1). I enjoy all forms of art, laughing, and sports. Even more, I love doing all three of those things with my family and friends! I am the girl with all the funny stories- all about me in my embarrassing glory. Many of these embarrassing stories will be told here on my blog, as funny things are guaranteed to happen to me during my time serving The Lord in New York City. Most importantly, I have a strong testimony of the Divinity of Jesus Christ and of His Restored Gospel that is here on the earth today. I know that He lived and He atoned for all of mankind. "He was the Great Jehovah of the Old Testament, the Messiah of the New. Under the direction of His Father, He was the creator of the earth. .. He is the great King Immanuel, who stands today on the right hand of His Father. He is the light, the life, and the hope of the world" (Jesus the Christ, 1997). I know that He and our Heavenly Father appeared to Joseph Smith in 1820, and that through this humble servant and prophet, the exact same gospel established by Jesus Christ was once again restored to the earth. How glorious is it to have His Gospel of Peace in my life! I pray that all may be able to come to this same knowledge that I have.
